Sunday Run with Watertown Running Club

Saturday Morning Run with Watertown Running Club

Want to get those legs moving and heart pumping before jumping into the work week? Join us every Sunday at 9am in Watertown Center.

The Sunday run tends to be a more approachable pace and distance than Saturdays, with a majority of runners taking the 4.6 mile loop with regular regroups.

If you have a longer run or want to ramp up the pace, you won’t have a hard time convincing someone to join you.

Essentials

  • We meet year-round, rain or shine
  • If it’s cold or rainy, be sure to dress accordingly!
  • We try to depart by 9:10am. Message a host if you’re running late
  • If you’re driving, you can park along Charles River Rd
  • Our route predominantly follows the Charles River, heading east along the north side of the river, returning along the southern side
  • The bridges serve as our turning points, with the 4.6mi loop turning back at the Arsenal Street Bridge
  • All paces are welcome; we regroup at intervals throughout the run

During the winter months, the ground may be snowy or icy. We recommend bundling up (hat and gloves) and bringing shoes or traction devices (Yaktrax) capable of handling slippery terrain.
